Our Organic packhouse is located right in the middle of our farm, and is equipped with pre-cooling and cold store facilities, complying with the relevant organic standards under which our products are packed.
The packhouse is BRC, Fairtrade, ISO 18001, ISO 9000 and ISO 22000 certified.
The subcontracted juice processing factories are operating against the AIJN standard.
MAFA Organic for Trade and Export Ltd., has its own internal audit team that conducts 2nd party audits on the subcontracted facilities to ensure that they are working in compliance with the company’s food safety and quality management system as well as the product’s HACCP study, especially as it relates to food safety, quality, segregation and integration of organic products. The HACCP studies also include control points for occupational health and safety as well as environmental hazards.
